AN emergency response was sparked this morning following a man allegedly causing anti-social behaviour on a train.
The British Transport Police (BTP) were called to reports of the incident at 11.02am on Wednesday, May 3, after the train was stopped at Neilston station.
Officers attended the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “We were called at 11.02am to Neilston station, to reports that a man was causing anti-social behaviour on a train which was stopped at the station.
“Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
“He’s currently in police custody.”
