A WORKERS’ Memorial Day will be held in East Renfrewshire at the end of the month.
The council are holding an outdoor ceremony to mark Workers’ Memorial Day on Friday, April 28 at Eastwood HQ - the local authorities headquarters.
Residents who have been affected by the loss of a loved one in the workplace are invited to attend.
International Workers’ Memorial Day is held on April 28 every year and is used as a day to remember those who have died either because of a workplace accident, ill health, or diseases as a result of work, according to Unison.
