A JAZZ musician from Barrhead has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Katie Doyle, who goes by the stage name of ‘kitti’, is a finalist in the Best Vocalist category at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2022.
The talented 26-year-old previously won the same award in 2020 and also received the Female Breakthrough prize at the Scottish Music Awards that same year.
Katie, who lived in Barrhead for around eight years and now stays in Glasgow, said she is “excited” to be nominated for a second time.
She added: “I’m currently making my first album and will be recording it in January.”
The awards ceremony will take place at the Savings Bank, in Glasgow, on Thursday, December 8, with the winners of five categories to be decided by public vote.
