A Glasgow shopping centre has welcomed exciting new retailer this week, just in time for the festive season.

Bath & Body Works is now open within the Next store at the Southside centre.

The retail chain, which is hugely popular in the US, was founded in Ohio in 1990 and is known for its range of body care, soaps and home fragrance.

Announcing the news on social media today Silverburn said: “New Store.

"Bath & Body Works has been a staple in the US for over 20 years and it is now available in Silverburn.

“The store is now open, perfect timing for stocking fillers this Christmas!”

Over 1000 people have since commented on the post to share their excitement.

One said: “I love this shop, my old favourite in Orlando.”

Another tagged a friend saying: “[You] can finally buy candles without having to worry that they’ll break or be too heavy in your suitcase.

A third added: “It really is all happening at Silverburn.”
