The curtain will rise on a Barrhead drama group’s debut play next week.
Members of the New Barrhead Players are preparing to perform Gypsy at Bourock Parish Church.
The plot revolves around upper-class friends who get caught out when a fortune teller reveals a secret affair.
Produced by Alma Mearns, Gypsy will run for three nights from Thursday, October 27, with performances starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 and can be booked online at https://The-gypsy.eventbrite.co.uk.
The group is also recruiting new members and anyone who is interested should get in touch via their Facebook page.
