Parents are being invited to bring their kids along to free Bookbug sessions taking place across East Renfrewshire.
The gatherings are a chance for youngsters to enjoy interactive songs, rhyme and stories.
They are organised by East Renfrewshire Libraries as part of a national programme that encourages mums and dads to share their love of books and music.
A spokesperson said: “Bookbug sessions introduce music to the very young using simple rhymes, songs and games and are held regularly during term time in several of East Renfrewshire’s libraries.
“Come along and join in.”
Bookbug fun takes place at the Barrhead Foundry on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, starting at 10.30am.
Neilston Library hosts sessions at 9.30am on Wednesdays and parents can also go along to Clarkston Library at 10.30am on Tuesdays or 2.15pm on Wednesdays.
Alternatively, there are sessions at Busby Library at 9.30am on Fridays, Montgomerie Hall, Eaglesham, at 9.15am on Tuesdays, Giffnock Library at 2.15pm on Wednesdays and 10.30am on Fridays, Thornliebank Library at 9.30am on Wednesdays and Mearns Library at 2pm on Mondays and 10.30am on Thursdays.
