Neilston Parish Church is inviting families to join them for a programme of fun activities this summer.
The series of events will take place in the church halls and include cinema sessions, a teddy bears’ picnic, a board games afternoon, a big quiz, a silent disco and a back-to-school service.
The first cinema session is set for Tuesday, July 5, while the second will take place on Tuesday, July 26.
On both dates, the first family-friendly film will be shown at 1pm and the second at 7pm.
Doors will open 20 minutes before each movie’s start time and those interested are welcome to attend one or both films on the day.
The teddy bears’ picnic will be held on Tuesday, July 12 and those coming along are asked to bring their favourite teddies, sandwiches and snacks.
The board games afternoon, meanwhile, is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 at 1pm and those attending this are invited to bring their family’s favourite board game to challenge others or have a go at some favourites.
On August 5, the big family quiz will kick off at 7pm and last until 8.30pm with questions for all ages.
As the summer holidays draw to a close, there will be a chance to get your boogie on at the silent disco from 7pm on Friday, August 12.
Finally, as everyone prepares to return to school there will be an opportunity to celebrate together at a special service at 11am on Sunday, August 14.
A tuck shop will be held at all events, with tea, coffee and juice provided free of charge.
