Drop-in sessions for people who want to give blood are being held across East Renfrewshire.
Residents in Neilston can go along to the Glen Halls on June 21 or November 8, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm or 5pm until 7pm.
There will also be sessions at Clarkston Hall on June 20, June 21 and October 3, all from 1.30pm until 3.30pm and from 5pm until 7.30pm.
Those living in Barrhead can visit the hall at St John’s Church between 1.30pm and 3.30pm or 5pm and 7.30pm on September 28.
People in Newton Mearns will also be able to give blood on September 28 by going to Broom Parish Church between 1.30pm and 3.30pm or 5pm and 7.30pm.
The number of people across the country donating blood dropped significantly during the Covid pandemic.
A spokesperson for the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service said: “To be ready to help Scotland’s patients, we aim to stock six days’ worth of each blood type at all times.”
