Barrhead residents urged to take public transport to country park
Barrhead residents are being urged to take public transport when visiting Pollok Country Park after parking charges are introduced.
From today (April 6) it will be £2.50 to park for four hours, and, £4.50 to park for an entire day.
The charges will be in place between 10am to 6pm Monday to Sunday.
You can pay with cash or use the Ringgo app, download instructions are available at the pay stations.
The new rules apply to all car parks within Pollok Country Park.
