MUSIC FANS flocked to Giffnock at the weekend as Playground Festival made a comeback after two years.
The event, which was previously cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, kicked off with acts including James, Glasvegas, and Morcheeba taking to the stage.
Rockers The Libertines closed day one with a headline set on the Main Stage at Rouken Glen Park.
Two artists cancelled their appearances at the music festival.
Hot Chips announced they were unable to perform their Megamix set due to illness and Neil Barnes - of electronic duo Leftfield - pulled out due to personal circumstances.
Festival-goers can watch performances across three different stages including the Main Stage, Playpark Stage, and Forest Stage.
As the event continued, Boy George & Culture Club were set to headline the Main Stage on Sunday evening.
