CUNNINGHAM - The Very Reverend Monsignor James Canon Monsignor James Canon Cunningham passed away peacefully, at the Holy Rosary Residence, Greenock, on Sunday, 4th June 2023. Monsignor Cunningham was ordained in 1960, therefore Ordained for the diocese 63 years, and will be sadly missed by his cousins James and Beatrice and his many nieces and nephews and all who knew him. Fortified by the rites of the Holy Church, R.I.P. Monsignor Cunningham will be received into St Mirin's Cathedral, Paisley, on Thursday, 15th June at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 16th June, at 12 noon. Service thereafter at St Conval's Cemetery, Barrhead, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.
