HEWITT MARGARET. Peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, on Monday 21st May 2018, borne with great courage, dignity and humour, Margaret Caughie Hewitt M.B.E. (nee Alexander) aged 75 years of Mearnscroft Gardens, Newton Mearns, Glasgow. Devoted wife of Jack and dear sister of Ann, Marion and Ian, sister-in-law of John. Funeral on Tuesday 5th June 2018. Service in Mansewood Private Chapel, Dalrymple Street, Stranraer at 1pm. Thereafter to Kirkmaiden Cemetery. No black ties, bright colours. Family flowers only please, donations if desired in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.
