ARTHURLIE have completed the signing of ex-Kilmarnock star Daniel McKay.
The 21-year-old penned a deal at Dunterlie Park last week and manager Mark Cameron spoke of his delight at securing the midfielder's services.
Having also played at Ayr United, Arbroath and Brechin City, McKay will add some experience to the squad despite his age.
The gaffer also praised the youngster and tipped him to become a star at The Lie.
He told Barrhead Sport: "I am delighted with the signing and he is already looking like a great addition.
"He came on last weekend and did well and influenced the game.
"He can play in midfield or up-front, he is versatile and strong.
"He is a quality player and one that I think will do well here.
"Daniel has an old head on those shoulders of his and that will stand him in good stead.
"He is composed and has great vision.
"We need to let him settle in first and I am sure he will fit in well with the boys here.
"From there we can really get to see the best of him and I am sure he will excite the fans.
"Signing him is a great coup for us."
