Arthurlie battled back from two goals down to earn a point against Auchinleck Talbot and bring their recent run of poor results to a halt.
The Dunterlie Park side went into Saturday's showdown having lost four league games in a row – and, for long periods, it looked as if that was going to become five at Beechwood Park.
Goals from Ross Smith and Bryan Boylan had the hosts in a commanding position before the half-hour mark and they threatened to add to their lead on more than one occasion.
However, Colin Reilly’s team stayed in the game and pulled one back through a penalty by Dylan Dykes on 68 minutes.
And the drama was far from over as, in added time, Sam Greenwood popped up at the back post to grab a welcome point for the visitors.
Arthurlie are in South Challenge Cup action this Saturday as Knightswood United visit Dunterlie Park, with kick-off at 2pm.
